Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and how you stay in control. Last updated 25 September 2026.
Plain-language summary: we collect only what we need to reply to your enquiry and deliver our service. We never sell your data. You can ask us to see, correct or delete it at any time.
Who we are
Mango Media runs themangomedia.in. For this policy we are the "data fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). You can reach us at hello@mangomedia.in.
What we collect
- When you enquire: your name, WhatsApp number or work email, and industry. If you choose to add them: city, business name and how many leads you need.
- When you join the early list: your email address.
- When you browse: privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (pages viewed, referring site, device type). We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
- On your device only: your chosen industry and any unsent form text are kept in your browser's local storage so you don't have to type them again. They are not sent to us until you submit.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry on WhatsApp, phone or email, and to send the sample leads you asked for.
- To deliver and bill our services if you become a client.
- To send occasional tips and offers, only if you ticked the box to opt in. You can stop these at any time.
We rely on your consent, which you give when you submit a form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us; withdrawal doesn't affect anything we did before.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (hosting, email, messaging, payments through Razorpay), under contracts that require them to protect it, or when the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become clients are deleted within 12 months of our last contact. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting (usually 8 years).
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to: tell you what personal data we hold and how we use it; correct or complete it; erase it; and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Email hello@mangomedia.in and we'll respond within 30 days.
Grievance officer
hello@mangomedia.in. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled servers. If a breach affects you, we'll tell you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
